Multi-warehouse Sales order New! - May, 2008

This exciting new feature provides the capability to assign a shipping warehouse at the Sales Order line item level in QuickBooks Enterprise, and have separate Sales Orders automatically created in Velocity Inventory and sent to the correct warehouse for each line item.

 

Unit of Measure New! - May, 2008

Velocity Inventory now supports multiple units of measure as defined in QuickBooks Enterprise, with viewing options for Inventory views, and UOM visibility through all Velocity Inventory processes on the PC and the mobile handheld device.

 

Item Attribute Controls (Lot Number, Expiration Date, Receive Date) New! - May, 2008

  • New System Wide and Item level options for managing data collection and views for Item attributes
  • FIFO (First in First Out) Inventory rotation option. Keeps your inventory rotating based on the date it was received in your warehouse.
  • FEFO (First Expiration First Out) Inventory rotation option. This insures stock rotation based on Expiration date with an option to automatically hold inventory from being picked for Sales Orders that has expired.
  • Attribute fields are now editable in the Inventory Detail screen

 

Bar code Import New! - May, 2008

This new feature automatically imports a single bar code from a QuickBooks Enterprise Custom field on the Item record into the Velocity Inventory Bar Code field, thus enabling bar code scanning for Items using the Velocity Inventory mobile bar code scanner.

 

Receiving transactions on mobile device New! - February, 2008

  • Added Receive to Stock function
  • Added Receive without a Bill for Receive to Dock or Stock

 

Move transactions on mobile device New! - February, 2008

  • Added Move Location function that moves all items and quantity from one location to another
  • Added Move Item function that moves a specific item from one location to another.

 

Reports New! - February, 2008

  •  Added an Inventory Valuation report
  •  Added cross-warehouse functionality to the Stock Status report

 

Bar code mobile device functions have been enhanced New! - February, 2008

  • Conduct Purchase Order receipts to either Dock or Stock
  • Pick and Ship Sales Orders
  • Conduct Inventory counts
  • Move Inventory in mass or at the Item level


QuickStart New! - January, 2008

The new QuickStart function will import Items with Inventory Quantities, Sales Orders, Purchase orders, and associated QuickBooks data into Velocity Inventory and creates a default set up, to get you up and running quickly. You may then transfer inventory to other warehouses if you have a multi-warehouse operation, and you can conduct inventory counts by actual stocking location in each warehouse, if desired.

 

Vendor Returns New! - January, 2008

This feature provides the ability to identify items to return to a vendor and sends the transaction to QuickBooks Enterprise for a vendor credit processing.


Counter Sales (Sales Receipts) - September 24, 2007

For all you folks out there doing Counter Sales in combination with your normal distribution operations, we now provide the functionality to do Counter Sales (Sales Receipts) in Velocity Inventory. 

 

Access Point Links - September 24, 2007
To ensure that both systems stay perfectly in sync; we use exclusive Velocity Inventory Access Point Links throughout QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions to redirect the user to Velocity Inventory for all inventory transactions.

Build assembly: The function imports the Bill of Materials for the item assenbly created in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and allows you to identify the component item locations from which to pick from, generate a Build ticket for picking, and to locate completed assemblies at a warehouse stocking location.

 

Customer Returns - August 13, 2007

Customer Returns: This feature provides the ability to collect customer returns information for goods that have been authorized for return and arrive at your warehouse. A customer credit memo is created automatically in Enterprise Solutions, and inventory is incremented in Velocity Inventory and Enterprise Solutions.
